This License Agreement ("Agreement") is a legal agreement between you ("Subscriber") and Saastraunt ("Provider") governing the use of the Saastraunt platform and associated services.
1. Grant of License
Upon subscribing, Saastraunt grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the platform subject to the terms of this Agreement.
Standard License
The Standard License permits you to:
- Use the platform for one (1) restaurant location operated by you or your organization
- Customize your storefront, menu, and branding within the platform
- Process customer orders and payments through the platform
Extended License
The Extended License includes all Standard License rights, plus the ability to:
- Use the platform for unlimited restaurant locations
- Manage multiple brands or concepts under one account
- Access advanced features including API integrations, white-label options, and custom reporting
2. Permitted Uses
You may:
- Use the platform to manage your restaurant operations
- Customize your storefront appearance and menu presentation
- Process orders, manage deliveries, and track customer interactions
- Export your data at any time
- Integrate the platform with compatible third-party tools and services
3. Prohibited Uses
You may NOT:
- Resell or sublicense platform access or any features to third parties
- Share or transfer your account credentials or subscription to another person or entity
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the platform
- Exceed your plan limits by operating more locations than your subscription permits
- Remove or alter any proprietary notices, labels, or marks
- Use for illegal purposes or in violation of any applicable laws
4. Ownership
The Saastraunt platform and all associated intellectual property rights remain the exclusive property of Saastraunt. This Agreement grants you a license to use the platform; it does not transfer ownership.
You retain ownership of all your restaurant data, content, menu items, customer information, and business records stored on the platform.
5. Third-Party Components
The platform integrates with third-party services, each governed by their respective terms. These include but are not limited to:
- Stripe (Payment Processing)
- Delivery service providers
- Email and SMS notification services
- Analytics and reporting tools
- Cloud hosting infrastructure
- Map and location services
You must comply with the terms of these third-party services when using the platform.
6. Support and Updates
Your subscription includes:
- Continuous access to the platform and all updates released during your subscription
- Customer support through email, chat, or phone depending on your plan
- Documentation and onboarding guides
Priority support and dedicated account management are available on Growth and Enterprise plans as outlined in our Terms of Service.
7. Warranty Disclaimer
The platform is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. Saastraunt does not warrant that the platform will meet all your requirements, be uninterrupted, or be error-free.
You assume all responsibility and risk for the use of the platform and your reliance thereon.
8. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Saastraunt be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the platform, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Saastraunt's total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the platform in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
This license is effective for the duration of your active subscription. Your rights under this Agreement will terminate automatically if you cancel your subscription or fail to comply with any of its terms.
Upon termination, your access to the platform will be revoked. You may export your data within 30 days of termination.
10. Refunds
We offer a 14-day free trial for new accounts. If you cancel during the trial period, you will not be charged. After the trial, subscription fees are non-refundable for the current billing period. Refund requests for extenuating circumstances will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
11. License Verification
Saastraunt reserves the right to verify subscription compliance. Unauthorized use of the platform may result in suspension of service and liability for damages.
12. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States. Any disputes arising under this Agreement shall be resolved in the courts of California.
